Good bad credit auto loans not so ugly!
I guess its that time again where you just roll up your sleeves and get to work. A bad credit auto loan is out there. Its a matter of how much you want to pay for your bad credit auto loan and that is directly proportional to how much time and effort you are willing to spend on the matter.
Credit unions, banks, lending institutions, dealer/manufacturers and online auto loan companies are all sources from which you might obtain a bad credit auto loan. It depends on how much they want your business.
One other financing option can be a home equity loan (also available online) if you own and have equity in your home. Annual interest rates (APR) are lower and your payments are tax deductible. You might consider borrowing against the cash value of you insurance policy or even check private lenders or in last resort a friend or family may co-sign a loan.
As financing is the largest of the costs of owning a vehicle, much shopping and comparison-shopping is required. What you are looking for is a pre-approved bad credit auto loan prior to walking into the showroom. This is like walking in with cash in hand and will get you a better deal on the purchase price which will make up for your extra financing cost due to previous bad credit habits. It will also limit your over spending habit.
Good luck in your quest for a bad credit auto loan and do not forget, read fine prints. Read all prints and double check calculations before signing on the dotted line.
